Best Microfiber

StarFiber® microfiber truly is a revolutionary cleaning material. The cleaning magic is in the Fiber itself – literally! This is why you do not need to use any chemical cleansers – only water is needed!

What is StarFiber® microfiber?

StarFiber® microfiber is composed of two polymers – polyamide and polyester – which combine to form one single thread. These fibers are usually “split” and formed into a woven fabric of 80% Polyester (the scrubbing and cleaning fiber), and 20% Polyamide (the absorbing and quick drying fiber). A StarFiber® microfiber would cover an area 40 times more than that of a regular fiber – this creates a much stronger absorbability due to capillary actions of these fine threads. The term “microfiber” is based on the size of a fiber measuring below 1.0 denier (the diameter or fineness of a continuous or filament fiber—the lower the number, the finer the fiber, which in turn is more effective for cleaning surfaces).

Characteristics of StarFiber® microfiber?

  • - AquaStar, Inc. has advanced microfiber technology by splitting the fiber, producing a 0.20-0.15 denier, making it the finest, thus, and highest quality microfiber on the market today.
  • - Splitted StarFiber® microfiber possesses sharper edges, affording improved contact with the work surface and superior penetration of dirt.

- A StarFiber® microfiber has two polymers. One polymer is lyophillic, i.e. has an affinity with oil, so that oil and grease adhere directly to the fibers and do not require preparatory treatment with chemicals. The other polymer is hydro-phillic, i.e. has an affinity with water.
